![]() ![]() There's no word as to whether Adobe will attempt to resolve this issue. For older devices, like my iPad 1, which tops out at 5.1, the feature also isn't working. Adobe is working on a way to resolve the issue and enable the viewing of chapter frames in iOS7. Click on the image to see it at full size.Īt press time, we heard from Adobe, who related that chapters were working in iOS6, but the feature was removed by Apple in iOS 7. I didn’t get the poster frames on my ancient iPad 1. Note neither the black frames or the chapters appeared on my iPhone 4S.įigure 5. I have a (now ancient) iPad 1, and I got the result shown in Figure 5 (below)-no poster frames, no chapter labels-from the same file shown in Figure 4. What’s new-or what’s supposed to be new-is that these chapter labels and poster frames should appear when the video is played back on an iPad. In Final Cut Pro 7, the latest player available on Windows, only the chapter names appear, there are no poster frames.įigure 4. Note that these chapter labels and poster frames already appeared in Final Cut Pro X (Mac Only) when you exported from Premiere Pro CS6 ( Figure 4, below). Specifically, with Premiere Pro CC, if you export a QuickTime file, any chapter markers that you inserted will appear as chapters when played back on iPads and other iDevices. Lincoln there is one tiny bit of good news. Very disappointing that Adobe no longer supports this product.īTW here's one of the links I came accross. ![]() In my Searches for DVD authoring software I've come across some very interesting hits. I've got a computer guy I rely on to help me. I've been trying to find the folders I need to copy and paste too. The menu libraries and buttons should come back with installing the content from the zip file (very long time since I did it myself). You can still run the software and get the job done. If anything, it may have been "discontinued" as an active part of the Creative Suite so that Adobe no longer have to make royalty payments for codec support etc. The software was fully mature and was still available. It wasn't developed beyond CS6 because there wasn't anything left to do to enhance the software with. I would rather start using another DVD authoring software than deal with Encore any longer.Īny help on installing the Contents file or advise on a new DVD Authoring software that I could replace Encore with would be appreciated. ![]() I finished a large part of a website in the free 30-days but now it's useless because the trial is expired, I can't crack it and I can't open the file. I also would like to know is there a DVD Authoring Software that I could get that would be a good replacement for Encore?īeing that Adobe does not support Encore any longer it seems that it has become a massive headache for allot of us. We don't have Common Files and I have tried deleting the Adobe cache folders and all but all it does is fucking up my CC Application Manager but it stills recognizes my expired trial. The Zip File that I downloaded comes from the Adobe Forums. Everyone says that Encore is old, and Adobe doesn’t support it anymore. I want to do it the right way so I’m holding off. I downloaded it but haven’t installed it yet. One thing I did find was a link to download contents zip file, quite large, that I could install. I’ve done a lot of searching here and on the net for solutions. When I reinstalled Encore CS6 none of the Menu Libraries, Buttons, etc, made it in the reinstall. Recently I went from Windows 7 to Win 10. I am a long-time user of Adobe Encore CS6. ![]()
